SMC/BMC Molding Resin FX-3506H
Product Description
FX-3506H is usually processed together with FX-3953/FX-3892 to produce low shrinkage molding compounds. As a rule, the ratio of FX-3506H and FX-3953 is 70:30 but it can be varied according to the actual situation.
The molding conditions are: 140~160ºC and 50~100kg/cm2. Depending on the size of the final product, it is recommended to add 300 to 600 ppm p-benzoquinone to the system (calculated on UP-resin plus thermoplastic solution).
The Product Characteristic
FX-3506H resin is an orthophthalic type unsaturated polyester resin whose main raw materials are anhydride, maleic anhydride, neopentyl glycol and standard diol. It has been dissolved in styrene crosslinked monomer.

Application
FX-3506H is mainly used for BMC products, using the molding process, the resulting products have good gloss and strength.
